The person who went to see Pathaan reached the lockup, could not watch the movie even after having 120 tickets, know why

Dispur. There is a lot of enthusiasm among people across the country about Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan. People are getting so crazy about this film that most of the shows are going houseful on the day of its release. But there is a person in Assam who could not watch the film even though he had 120 tickets for the film. But what is the reason behind this? This person named Safidul Islam was caught by the police at 9.30 am and released after 5 pm.

Safidul Islam, a resident of Dhola in Mangaldoi district of Assam, had taken 120 tickets for Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan. The day Islam took these 120 tickets, he said, “We were planning to watch this film but when many organizations started threatening about it, we took it as a challenge. We, the members of Northeast Minority Students Union, took 120 tickets. If someone stops us from going there or threatens us in the theatre, we will not be responsible for the consequences.”

However, on Wednesday, the day the film was released, there was a twist in the story. Islam, 27, was taken into custody. He hastily said, “I was not allowed to speak, the police said that this is for my good.”

Police say they detained Islam because he had threatened an organization of consequences if they were prevented from watching the film. Recently, Bajrang Dal vandalized a cinema hall in the city and burnt posters of the film.

Let me tell you, ‘Pathan’ got tremendous response from the people on the first day of its release. Shah Rukh’s fans were seen dancing and grooving to his songs on the occasion. In the song ‘Besharam Rang’ of ‘Pathan’, there was a demand to boycott the film due to the color of actress Deepika Padukone’s dress and there was a lot of controversy about it. Even after the film’s release, incidents of protests and sloganeering were witnessed at many places.
