After the Tunisha Sharma incident, once again Sayantani and her team have started shooting for the TV show ‘Ali Baba: Dastan e Kabul’. Sayantani also mentioned about her time when she was going through financial crisis.
Didn’t want to take money from father
During the interview, Sayantani told, ‘The year 2010 was that phase of life, when time had stopped. After becoming famous with the show ‘Naagin’, I bought a 1BHK house with my hard earned money. But when the show stopped, my earnings stopped. At that time, I did not know money management so well, so the savings were also over. I didn’t have any source of earning. Also I am from a middle class family and I did not want to take money from my father. In such a situation, I sold my house with a stone on my heart, which I had bought with my hard earned money. It was not that I was not getting work but the offers I was getting were not good enough for me as an artist. Slowly the car came back on track. Actually, there comes a time in every actor’s life when he has to struggle a lot.
